Hey, I’m Levi.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Byron Bay, and I’ve photographed over 200 weddings since 2016.
My approach is pretty simple. I’ll help you feel comfortable when it’s time for portraits, keep an eye on the people and moments that matter, and give you plenty of room to enjoy the day without thinking about the camera.

Definitely not . I want you to actually enjoy your wedding, not spend half of it wondering where the photographer is taking you next.
We’ll make time for some portraits and family photos, of course, but I’ll keep things moving and leave plenty of room for you to get back to your people.

You’re in very good company. Most couples tell me some version of this before their wedding.
You don’t need to know how to pose, where to put your hands, or how to look like the people in a perfume ad. I’ll give you a bit of direction when you need it, and otherwise let you get on with being yourselves. The good stuff usually happens once you stop thinking about the camera.

Enough to help you feel comfortable, not enough to make you feel like you’re filming an episode of LAFS.
I’ll help with portraits and family photos so you’re not left standing around wondering what to do. The rest of the day, I’m looking for the moments that happen naturally. There’s a balance between giving you a little guidance and letting the day unfold, and that’s where I like to work.

That’s completely fine. You don’t need a grand entrance, a dramatic veil shot, or a twelve-person bridal party doing something synchronised.
We’ll make time for photographs of the two of you and the people you love, without turning it into a production. If you’d rather spend that extra half hour having a drink with your guests, that’s what makes your wedding day yours.

I can’t promise I’ll photograph every single thing that happens. Nobody can, and I’d rather be honest about that.
What I can promise is that I’m paying attention. The people, the relationships, the little interactions, the things happening around the edges while everyone else is looking somewhere else. I ask in our pre wedding comms if there are particular people or moments that matter a lot to you, so I know who (and what) specifically to look out for.

Your wedding doesn’t need to look like anything in my portfolio. That’s the whole point.
Whether you’re getting married in a restaurant, on a family property, in someone’s backyard, or somewhere a little further afield, I’m interested in photographing what’s actually there. The people, the place, the light, the atmosphere. Not trying to make your wedding look like someone else’s.

Honestly, there are plenty of photographers who take lovely photographs, and most charge less than I do.
What matters is finding someone whose work you love, whose approach feels right for you, and who you trust to be around your favourite people on a pretty important day.
My approach is candid and documentary, with a little direction when it helps. I’m there to photograph the day as it feels, not manufacture a bunch of moments for the sake of a photograph.

It’s a fair question. You’re trusting me with something that can’t exactly be rescheduled for next Tuesday.
I take that responsibility seriously, and I have a plan for the unexpected. If something genuinely prevents me from photographing your wedding, I’ll work to arrange suitable replacement coverage and communicate with you as quickly as possible.
I’ll also walk you through the relevant details in our agreement before you book, so you know exactly where you stand.

Weddings have a habit of changing shape a little along the way. Guest numbers shift, timelines move, and sometimes the original plan gets thrown out entirely.
If something changes, just let me know and we’ll work through it together. The options available will depend on what has changed and the terms of your agreement, so I’ll make sure those are clear before you book.
