Longer answer: yes.

It will undoubtedly grow my audience who might potentially hire me down the track but I’m genuinely giving one couple a full $4,900 experience for free, with no catches, no hidden fees, no weird fine print.

It’s both a way for me to connect with more like minded couples and a way to give something huge to someone who might never otherwise be able to afford this level of photography.

If it was just a marketing stunt, I’d give away a mini session, not my full day wedding package.

There isn’t one.

If you win, you get the package described.

If you don’t, you still get some genuinely helpful emails and content from me.

There’s no surprise invoices.

There’s no “just kidding, you still have to pay X”.

The ‘catch’ is basically: you fill out a form, I get to know you, one couple gets something huge.

Nope. I’m not a software subscription salesman, lol.

If you don’t win, you’ll get an email from me with a genuine thank you for entering and if I like your vibe I’ll send a runner-up offer if you still want to work together.

If you’re not interested, you can just say “nah, we’re good”. There’s absolutely no pressure or annoying email drip campaigns designed to pressure you into purchasing anything after.

I will personally read every single entry as they come in, that’s the whooooole point of this! Learning about you and who this giveaway would have the most impact on.

I’m choosing based on your story, your vibe, what this would mean to you.

Also the real world practicalness; specifically if I’ve got your date available and you’re venue / location is between Noosa & Byron Bay.

Also MASSIVE brownie points if your vibe feels like we’d genuinely enjoy spending the day together. That’s huge.

It’s not about the most expensive venue, what dress you’re wearing, who’s biggest budget or best floral arrangement.

Then you’re exactly the type of couple I’d love to hear from.

I care about emotion, connection, story, people. It’s not all about aesthetics.

Your day can be backyard, barn, city hall, warehouse, tiny elopement, or full-blown wedding festival.

If your wedding story is meaningful to you, then I want to hear from you!

If your wedding is between Noosa and Byron Bay, travel is included.

Outside that area, there may be minimal travel/accommodation costs, which I’ll be totally upfront about before you lock anything in.

The last thing I’ll ever do is forward a surprise charges or last-minute “can you reimburse this please, thank you”.

If you’ve already signed a contract and paid a retainer with someone else, I don’t want to put you (or them) in a weird position.

Options:

01. You can still enter and, if you win, we can talk about using it for: a super8 video of the day + film photography.

02. Or you can pass the prize to a friend or family member if they’re also planning their wedding in 2026.

I won’t ask you to break contracts with someone else in my industry, I’m not about burning other creatives like that.

Life happens. If your date shifts and I’m still available, we roll with it.

If I’m not available for your new date we’ll look at options (associate shooter, adventure session, etc.)

Since starting this business in 2016 the bigger heart has always been to use my business to impact people.

I believe in giving back; whether it’s tithing, volunteering, sharing your knowledge. A portion of what I earn goes toward supporting youth missions through my local church, and one day I’d love to get hands on with this type of outreach work myself and aid in the lives of others.

It all boils down to a heart for using my skills to invest in people, not just invoices.

Is it also marketing? Sure. It’s technically called ‘marketing’ if you dive into the nitty gritty definition of the word.

But the giveaway still costs me real time, real energy, and real income… and I’m happy to do it because I care about what it gives back.
